The Triumph Cub is one of those bikes which everyone knows exists and many people love, but which has never been catered for by an owners’ association in the past. This situation has now been addressed and the Triumph Tiger Cub Association is now in its fifth year of operation.
As the name suggests there is no need to actually own a Cub to join, and the Cub Association has attracted almost 250 members already, together with a growing trade supporters group including many well known Cub specialists.
Mike Estall of the Tiger Cub Register, author of the Cub ‘Bible’, is technical consultant, and members include John Surtees who has fond memories of working on Cubs in his days at the Surtees Triumph dealership.
Members are entitled to take advantage of discounts from trade members, there are branded items such as T-shirts and caps available.
All are welcome to join the Cub Association based in the UK but members are welcome from anywhere around the world.
The aim of the Cub Association is to provide a focus for the activities of Triumph Cub Association, and to encourage the preservation of these models for future generations to enjoy.
Membership of the Cub Club now costs just £35 for life membership.
